History of Northeast Kentucky Small Business Awards

Each year since 1998 Morehead State University's Ashland Small Business Development Center has set aside a morning in May to honor and recognize small business success in three Northeast Kentucky counties - Boyd, Carter, and Greenup. Needless to say, this project is a huge endeavor and requires a planning committee made up of the area's top leaders in banking, economic development, business and industry, and education. The following individuals and organizations are responsible for coordinating and planning the Northeast Kentucky Small Business Awards:

TIME: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
LOCATION: Advance Memorial United Methodist Church,
                       1007 Bellefonte Road, Flatwoods, KY
HOSTED BY: Rob Johnson, WSAZ News Channel 3

DIRECTIONS: Take US 23 to Diederich Blvd. (State Route 693). Continue straight for 2.5 miles. Diederich becomes Bellefonte Rd. upon entering Flatwoods. Church is located on right (across from Huddle House)
